Sydney Hospital since 1788 has played a vital part in health
care it is the first hospital in Australia and has nursing associations
with Florence Nightingale. A proud past and vital future.

The sculpture of Il Porcellino was presented to the city of
Sydney by The Marchesa Fiaschi Torrigiani of Florence Italy
and accepted by the Chief Commissioner The Hon. Vernon
Haddon Treatt. M.M.Q.C.M.A.B.C.I. on 16th December 1968
